Garlic Wine Sauce (for Chicken)

INGREDIENTS

Shallots (minced) 2 tbsp
Garlic (minced) 2 tbsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Black Pepper 4 turns
Chicken Stock 1 1/2 cups
Red Wine 1/2 cup
Unsalted Butter (room temp) 2 tbsp
Rosemary (optional) 1 tbsp

RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS

Directions

Combine the shallots, garlic, salt and pepper (and rosemary, if desired) in a small nonreactive saucepan over high heat. Stir in the stock and the wine and bring to a boil. Cook over high heat for 15 minutes. Swirl in the butter, remove from the heat, and continue to whisk in the butter until thoroughly incorporated.
